Job summary

Columbia Bank New Jersey is seeking a CRA Mortgage Origination & Community Lending professional committed to serving low- and moderate-income communities in Brooklyn and Staten Island. You'll enhance mortgage loan volume through community engagement and support services.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, over five years of CRA mortgage sales experience, and excellent communication skills. They will enjoy a hybrid work schedule of three days in-office and two days remote.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of CRA mortgage sales experience.
• Thorough knowledge of lending regulations required.
• Knowledgeable of marketing procedures for products and services.

Responsibilities

• Originate CRA eligible mortgage loans focusing on Brooklyn and Staten Island.
• Prepare and present home-buyer seminars and classes.
• Develop relationships with community-based organizations.

Established relationships with local referral networks

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in residential mortgage sales
