Job summary

PROtect, LLC seeks Level I and Level II CR/DR Technicians to perform non-destructive testing on structures, pipelines, and equipment in Lenexa, Kansas. You’ll ensure compliance with codes, customer specs, and procedures while growing your NDT expertise.

Responsibilities include DR/CR inspections, using RT/UTT/MT/PT as qualified, and documenting findings with timely reports. Level II mentors may guide Level I staff; travel for projects is possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must be insurable under the company policy.
• State Card required.
• Level I or Level II RT Certification with CR/DR.
• Additional UTT, MT, PT certifications preferred for Level I and required for Level II.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Non-Destructive Testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections using DR and CR.
• Utilize RT, UTT, MT, PT as qualified.
• Set up, calibrate, operate, and maintain NDT equipment.
• Identify and document material and component defects.
• Complete inspection reports and work orders accurately and on time.
• Safely operate company vehicles and maintain a clean driving record.
• Follow all safety procedures and assist with mentoring Level I technicians.
• Perform general equipment inspections and housekeeping duties.
