Job summary

Sunrise Engineering seeks a CQIP Natural Gas Pipeline Inspector to join our Las Vegas Inspection team. This full-time role requires 3+ years of construction observation or pipe-joining experience, with knowledge of plastic and/or steel natural gas line installation processes.

You will read maps and construction drawings, inspect tools and equipment for safe condition, and perform a full range of inspections on distribution work by contracted crews.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing construction observation or experience with pipe joining.
• Knowledgeable in plastic and/or steel natural gas line installation processes.
• Ability to read maps and construction drawings; communicate professionally with crews and clients.

Responsibilities

• Inspect crews, tools, and equipment for safe, compliant work.
• Observe and inspect joining of plastic pipe and fittings using heat fusion or mechanical methods.
• Conduct inspections of distribution work performed by contracted crews.
• Input and manage forms and records in company systems; maintain neat, legible documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers, other departments, and management.
