Sunrise Engineering is seeking a full-time Natural Gas Pipeline Inspector to join our Inspection group in Phoenix, Arizona. The role focuses on construction observation, pipeline installation quality, and safety compliance with contracted crews.

You will read maps and drawings, inspect tools and equipment, and ensure joining methods meet standards for plastic and steel gas lines. Join a collaborative team delivering reliable, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction observation or experience with pipe joining.
• Knowledgeable in plastic and/or steel natural gas line installation processes.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret maps, construction and fabrication drawings.
• Inspect crews and equipment to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Inspect joining methods for plastic pipe and fittings (heat fusion or mechanical).
• Maintain project forms and records; comply with company policies.
