Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a Silicon/Electrical Validation Engineer to contribute to validating next-generation CPU I/O and interface technologies. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop strategies, debug issues, and drive robust solutions from silicon through production.

The role emphasizes hands-on validation, scripting in Python/C++, and collaboration across hardware, firmware, design, and manufacturing to ensure product quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience, or Master's with 1+ years of experience.
• Experience with high-speed analog and digital CPU IO circuits.
• RTL design and/or scripting in pre/post silicon environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute electrical validation plans for CPU I/O interfaces and platform technologies.
• Create validation methodologies, test content, and automation solutions to evaluate electrical performance.
• Perform silicon and platform debugging to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Utilize lab equipment to characterize high-speed interfaces and system behavior.
• Develop validation scripts and automation using Python.
• Collaborate across hardware, BIOS, firmware, design, manufacturing, and validation teams to resolve technical issues.
• Analyze test results and provide data-driven recommendations to improve quality and reliability.
• Assess electrical health across silicon, platform, and system-level implementations.
