• Valid driver’s license required.
• No relevant experience required; will receive on-the-job training.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Basic measurement and arithmetic skills, including taking, converting, and using measurements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills: maintain good relationships with customers/vendors.
• Ability to make sound decisions based on knowledge, experience, and judgment.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• 4-year college degree preferred.
• Detail oriented, can maintain organization and multi-task.
• Problem solving/Conflict resolution and negotiation skills preferred.

Job SummaryCentral Plains Steel, a division of Feralloy, is seeking a dependable Sales Representative. This is an entry level position in which an individual will begin their learning journey of the metal service center industry. The individual will gain exposure by learning all aspects of raw material sales, fabrication sales, and outside sales. This includes quoting, pricing, orders, inventory management, and front-line communication with customers and vendors, all while coordinating with all other departments to successfully serve our customers.Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmPay: $43,000/yrNote to Applicants:We are seeking team members who value a strong, collaborative work environment and take pride in what they do.
