Job summary

Jobtailor in Augusta, ME seeks an administrative support professional to assist with health records for children in custody. You will review records, enter data, and upload to the electronic system, while tracking information and coordinating with medical and welfare staff.

The role requires independent judgment, familiarity with health records, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook; a Maine Class C license is required. Prior medical records experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Background in office and client support work.
Ability to apply policies and procedures with independence.
Judgment and decision-making on complex administrative tasks.
Valid Class C Maine driver’s license.
Medical records or health field experience preferred.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Assist in gathering health records for children in custody.
Review health records and welfare reports; assist data entry and uploading to the system.
Track and report health records and information gathered.
Communicate and collaborate with medical office and child welfare staff.
Assist in tracking, documenting and electronic filing of informed consent forms.
Track and respond to psychotropic medication review requests.
All other tasks and duties as assigned.
