Job summary

Passavant Memorial Homes in Pittsburgh seeks a Community Participation Supports Director to lead the CPS program, overseeing CPS and Supported Employment services, staff supervision, and collaboration with residential managers to deliver high-quality, person-centered supports.

The role requires IP planning oversight, staff training, and ensuring compliance with Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) service descriptions and PMH policies while fostering community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Eligible to perform Program Specialist duties via qualifications (55 Pa. Code Chapter 6400.44).
• Master’s degree or higher with one year of experience serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree with two years’ experience with developmental disabilities.
• Associate’s degree or 60 credit hours with four years’ experience with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CPS and SE services, managing daily operations and ensuring policy compliance.
• Participate in client team IP meetings, reviews, and consultations as needed.
• Ensure IP accuracy and implement goal/objective planning for services.
• Coordinate participants’ schedules with residential staff and managers.
• Train staff on IP, MAR, diet, and individual needs; ensure service notes are completed.
• Maintain quarterly progress notes and annual comprehensive assessments.
• Oversee petty cash, weekly ledger reports, and vehicle/equipment matters.
• Interview and hire staff; conduct on-the-job training and supervision.
