Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development, family dynamics and communication.
• Ability to plan for child permanency with families.
• Experience with documenting case records and collaborating with legal parties.

Responsibilities

• Receives cases after children are removed and placed in CPS conservatorship.
• Determines each child needs and coordinates referrals for tests and services.
• Plans for permanency with families and kinship resources.
• Identifies kinship providers and completes home studies.
• Works with Placement Team for placements and kinship care.
• Visits children monthly to assess safety and progress.
• Participates in court hearings and staffing for permanency.
• Documents case records and maintains relationships with officials.
