Job summary

Summary

The CPR Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in cardiopulmonary resuscitation ( CPR ), automated external defibrillator ( AED ) use, and basic first aid to students, healthcare professionals, and community members. This role involves teaching both theoretical knowledge and hands‑on skills in accordance with guidelines the American Heart Association ( AHA ). The instructor fosters a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes confidence and competence in life‑saving techniques.

• Deliver CPR , AED , and First Aid training in accordance with certifying body standards (e.g., AHA ).
• Prepare and organize instructional materials, equipment, and classroom/lab settings.
• Provide clear demonstrations and supervise hands‑on practice to ensure skill proficiency.
• Evaluate participant performance and issue certifications upon successful completion.
• Maintain accurate records of class rosters, evaluations, and certifications.
• Ensure compliance with all training guidelines, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Experience Required

• Current certification as a CPR Instructor through a recognized organization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching in healthcare, public safety, or educational settings.
