Waters of New Castle is seeking a Transportation/Facility Bus Driver to transport residents and staff safely under the supervision of the Administrator/Maintenance Director. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required, with CPR certification (CNA preferred).

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and professional conduct in a caring facility setting, including daily vehicle checks, log maintenance, and coordination of rides for residents.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED and CPR certification required (CNA preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate bus/van for residents and staff as scheduled.
• Attend mandatory meetings and maintain professional appearance.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and logs.
• Maintain safety by ensuring passengers are seated and obeying laws.
• Coordinate trips with social workers/designees and supervise residents as needed.
• Transport to designated areas and manage mileage records.
• Report safety violations and correct issues.
• Keep mileage/trip logs current and filed monthly.
• Assist with scheduling and communication for appointments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Administration/Maintenance.
• Maintain vehicle appearance and cleanliness.
