Village Caregiving is hiring for an in-home caregiver role. The position involves assisting clients with medication reminders, mobility, personal care, therapy exercises and light housekeeping to support daily living.

The role requires compassionate bedside manner, strong communication, time management, and physical endurance to perform tasks and respond to emergencies. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with dietary considerations.
• Respectful, compassionate with a strong bedside manner.
• Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance to perform tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
