Job summary

Village Caregiving - Green Bay is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients at home. You will help with medications, mobility, personal care and light housekeeping, while coordinating with family and medical professionals to maintain comfort and safety.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and a commitment to health and safety standards. Strong communication and time management are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with clients, families and care team is essential.
• CPR certification demonstrates preparedness to respond to emergencies.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with dietary awareness.
• Respectful, compassionate demeanor with a strong bedside manner.
• Strong communication, time management and interpersonal abilities.
• Physical endurance to complete tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or during outings.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Support client in physical therapy and prescribed exercises.
• Shop for clients or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed.
• Collect information from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family.
• Report unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
