Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking an Imaging Patient Transporter to move patients between hospital areas and assist imaging staff with routine tasks. You will join a lift team and help transport records and equipment as needed.

The role requires CPR certification within 90 days, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Three 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend and some holidays, are typical.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required within 90 days of hire.

• Satisfactory completion of the orientation (90 days) period, including written material and on-the-job training.
• The employee must be able to demonstrate consistent achievement of major/function performance standards and specific competencies. Maintains competency based on performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients within the hospital and assist imaging personnel with routine care tasks learned on the job.
• Assist with transporting patient records and equipment to designated areas throughout the hospital.
• Basic computer knowledge may be used to retrieve clinical reports for medical staff and assist visitors with patient locations.
• Assist in housekeeping duties and responsibilities as needed.
