Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength seeks a CPQ Architect to optimize Oracle CPQ cloud deployments and related integrations with Salesforce, Oracle Integration Cloud, and EBS ERP. You will gather requirements, design solutions, develop with BMQL/CSS/HTML, and guide global users through full project lifecycles.

Fully remote work is allowed with occasional travel to HQ in Rosemont, IL. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, deliver dashboards, and document standards while ensuring seamless

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or related field.
• Alternative: Bachelor's degree + 5 years of CPQ analysis or consulting experience.
• Experience designing and implementing Oracle CPQ solutions with BigMachines language.

Responsibilities

• Answer functional/technical questions regarding Oracle CPQ.
• Perform functional testing of CPQ modifications.
• Research future CPQ releases and assist in implementation of new functionality.
• Create and maintain setup and process documentation.
• Deliver report and dashboard support for CPQ.
• Design, develop, and implement CPQ solutions and integrations with Salesforce and ERP systems.
• Troubleshoot CPQ issues and provide end-user guidance.

The CPQ (configure, price, quote) Architect will provide insight to realize the full potential of Oracle's CPQ cloud application and related components of Salesforce, Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle EBS ERP systems. Provide support for front office projects (Sales, Marketing, Service), and work closely with the business to define improvement initiatives, gather and document business requirements, define courses of action, and track projects to completion. Maintain a global, enterprise-wide viewpoint, supporting the mission and vision of the organization. The role encompasses the major components of the full project life cycle - requirements review, analysis, design review, Oracle CPQ development, set-up, testing and support. Ensure that the delivered solution meet the needs of global end users and executes a strategic objective that enhances internal and/or external customer experience. Work closely with global business application users and with a talented global team to implement requirements and provide development solutions for our CPQ Platform. Partner with Salesforce managed service to support all Sales and Marketing processes and systems.

• Design, develop, and implement solutions and integrations with Oracle CPQ and other Sales and Marketing systems
• Configure and customize CPQ features such as rules, recommendations, pricing, workflows, approvals, and quote management
• Develop custom code and objects using the CPQ developer toolkit, such as BML, BMQL, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
• Develop web services API integrations with other systems such as Salesforce, Oracle EBS ERP, and related business applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle CPQ functionality and performance
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders
• Document and maintain Oracle CPQ configuration and development standards and best practices
• Closely collaborate with Salesforce Managed services
• Leverages skill and experience to drive technology initiatives that ensure maximum return on investment; and Recommend and design technology solutions that positively shape and influence business processes, recommending courses of action to drive change and continuous improvement

Fully remote work permitted as per company policy. Travel 5-8% of time, including 2-3 days to company HQ in Rosemont, IL; 1-2 days on average sometimes up to 1 week for domestic travel; 1 week at a time for international travel possibly 1-3 times per year to Spain/Germany/UK; purpose is to meet with colleagues, software testing and launches.

Education Requirement

Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or related

Experience Requirement

Two (2) years of experience in CPQ analysis or consulting

Alternative Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or related and five (5) years of experience in CPQ analysis or consulting

Special Skills

• Must have work experience in each of the following: 1) designing and developing a quoting system in Oracle CPQ using BigMachines programming language, including BMQL, CSS, HTML, and APIs
• building integrations between Oracle CPQ, Salesforce CRM, Oracle Integration Cloud, and DocuSign
• researching upcoming Oracle CPQ releases and implementing new features while ensuring system upgrades proceed smoothly without disruptions
• creating custom configurations using the Oracle CPQ Configuration module, leveraging BOM concepts and rules
• building custom user interfaces using Salesforce Lightning components, Lightning web components, and VisualForce Pages

The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $166,000-$201,600 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities.
