Career Preparation Program (CPP) Instructor

Make a difference by inspiring success and changing lives. As a CPP Instructor, you will help students develop career goals, build confidence, and transition into training and career pathways.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging instruction and training during the Career Preparation Program.
• Help students develop individualized achievement plans and career goals.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress to promote retention and success.
• Serve as a mentor, coach, and positive role model.
• Conduct effective classroom instruction and assess student performance.
• Supervise and support students while fostering a safe and positive learning environment.
• Coordinate pre‑arrival activities, including:
  • Pre‑arrival phone calls
  • Transportation arrangements
  • CPP Welcome Celebrations
  • Student needs assessments
  • Center tours
  • Staff introductions
• Maintain accurate student records and uphold all integrity guidelines.
• Support center goals and help ensure program success.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (required). A degree from an accredited school is preferred.
• Previous group facilitation, teaching or Job Corps experience is preferred.
• Valid in‑state Driver's License.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
