Functions as a provider of counseling services for members of the organization. In this capacity, the incumbent is responsible for providing a variety of counseling services to members with mental illness, addiction disorders, and/or trauma effects. The Counselor will work in conjunction with the treatment team to provide a continuum of services designed to aid in the member’s recovery goals. The Counselor may also be part of a team assigned to each member to ensure strong clinical care and coordination.

Physical: Sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office, school or community setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist: to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amount of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard or laptop; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Ability to provide services in homes or locations in the community which may not be adapted for accessibility.
Ability to drive a vehicle.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
