Job summary

C.A. Carlin is seeking a Trade Planner to act as a liaison between our Sales Team and clients’ trade finance teams, ensuring timely and accurate entry of customer promotions.

The role involves learning multiple trade management systems, developing procedures, and working closely with sales to exceed client expectations. The position is hybrid in Schaumburg, IL, requiring in-office presence 2 days per week and offering a salary range of $53,000 to $58,000 depending on experience and skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• CPG experience in grocery/confectionary preferred.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain promotional plans for clients in 3rd party systems.
• Gather promotional information from sales.
• Review promotional plans for accuracy.
• Assist sales and clients with questions or problems.
• Coordinate with Deduction Management to ensure timely entry of plans.
