Job summary

Oats Overnight is seeking a Process & Maintenance Engineer to lead improvements and reliability initiatives in our manufacturing operations. You will evaluate workflows, drive RCA and ECR processes, and partner with cross-functional teams to boost productivity, cut downtime, and reduce waste on Monday–Friday.

You will manage preventive and predictive maintenance, optimize capital projects, and ensure compliance with SQF and GMP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3–5 years of process/maintenance/reliability engineering in manufacturing; food, beverage, or CPG preferred.
• Strong RCA and ECR experience with data-driven problem solving.
• Hands-on predictive maintenance: vibration analysis, thermal imaging and ultrasonic testing.
• Proficiency with CMMS and CAD tools; ability to document and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvements and equipment reliability initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Develop and implement improvements to increase cost effectiveness, product quality, and operational reliability.
• Lead RCA investigations and manage ECRs, coordinating cross-functional reviews and approvals.
• Optimize preventive maintenance schedules and support predictive maintenance efforts.
• Identify and execute capital projects for safety, quality, and cost savings.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and fulfillment teams to resolve challenges.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide training on processes and equipment.
