Role Overview:

This hands-on CPG consulting lead will embed within the client's analytics and reporting organization. As the program moves through a new operating model transition across multiple delivery partners, this role brings structure, visibility, and forward momentum making current work legible and sustainable while building toward a leaner, more automated future state. The person operates close to program leadership, coordinates across internal and multiple vendor teams, and blends consulting judgment with enough analytics and AI fluency to drive practical recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand current reality -Assess barriers to fully adopting the new organization structure; map where leadership and the broader team spend their time; quantify the effort split between operations and new projects; and pinpoint where capacity constraints and bottlenecks are emerging.
• Create visibility & structure -Standardize how work is tracked across internal and vendor teams; create a common view of priorities, actions, dependencies, and ownership; flag projects on critical timelines that need attention; and maintain clear line-of-sight to work, risks, and upcoming decisions.
• Simplify & optimize -Recommend what to start, stop, continue, simplify, or automate; distribute work sustainably and prevent burnout; identify opportunities to better leverage delivery partners and vendor teams; and advise on where responsibilities should sit across the organization.
• Build for the future -Assess skill and resource gaps; recommend additional resources or capabilities; accelerate knowledge transfer and transition activities; and help shape how AI, automation, and improved processes can reduce future workload.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) consulting experience is essential
• Strong data understanding and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into decisions
• Hands-on Power BI experience (basic proficiency -building and interpreting reports/dashboards)
• Working understanding of Machine Learning concepts and their practical applications
• Experience with Agentic AI / agentic solution design and implementation
• Strong program management capabilities across cross-functional, multi-vendor teams

Preferred / Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with process automation and workflow optimization
• Comfort advising senior stakeholders and facilitating prioritization decisions

Ideal Candidate:

A consultant operator senior enough to advise leadership on operating-model and org decisions, comfortable running program-level coordination across multiple vendors, and fluent enough in analytics and AI to make credible recommendations on automation and future capability. Equal parts structure and pragmatism, this person is as effective bringing order to complexity as they are identifying where the organization should invest next.

Pay:

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $120,000 - $170,000 with the potential for a higher base depending on experience, skills, and overall fit for the position. In addition, for the current performance period, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.

As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time. You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company. In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms. The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a "free time" PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take the time needed for either sick time or vacation.
