Job summary

Acosta is seeking an experienced training specialist to develop and deliver engaging BI training materials, courses, and modules. You will work with experts to identify needs, create curricula, and analyze data to guide product and promotional decisions.

Responsibilities include building sales presentations, reporting on client KPIs, and training associates to improve client management skills. The role focuses on category management and strategic advisory support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma/GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of CPG and retail industry tools, data sources, and concepts.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and video editing software.
• Skilled in analyzing business challenges, preparing data-driven plans, and identifying growth opportunities.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to adapt to diverse audiences.
• Experience managing projects independently, breaking down complex problems, and tracking progress.
• Ability to build stakeholder relationships and translate strategic goals into actionable plans.
• Category Management or Space Management Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging live virtual courses, e-learning modules, videos, and training materials on BI topics and software.
• Work with subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop courses and curricula.
• Analyze complex data and provide guidance and recommendations addressing product, pricing, promotion, and placement.
• Understand the category review process through the 3-call process and collaborate cross-functionally to provide category management solutions.
• Build compelling sales presentations using syndicated, shopper, and other data sources.
• Understand client KPIs driving profit and sales and deliver scorecard reports or validate progress.
• Train associates on follow-up, summarize analysis results, and create case studies and success stories.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, collect feedback, assess learning outcomes, and recommend improvements.
• Provide training to strengthen client management skills and position Acosta as a strategic advisor.
