Job Responsibilities
  1. Recruit, screen, interview, select, orient, teach, supervise, and evaluate CPE Interns.
  2. Conduct didactics and verbatim sessions for CPE Residents.
  3. Assist with orientation for CPE Residents.
  4. Manage administrative functions related to the CPE program.
  5. Maintain standards of the ACPE.
Additional Duties
  • Provide spiritual care to patients, families, staff, and volunteers.
  • Assess spiritual/religious/emotional needs and develop care plans.
  • Coordinate chaplaincy care at assigned locations.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse populations.
  • Participate in/support support groups and interdisciplinary team.
  • Maintain professional endorsements and participate in ongoing education.
  • Engage with community religious organizations and multicultural programs.
  • Participate in committees and in-service education as needed.
  • Promote an inclusive, respectful work environment.
Qualifications
  • ACPE Certification as an Educator.
  • Master’s Degree in a related field.
  • Certified Chaplain with APC, NACC, or NAJC.
  • Experience managing an accredited CPE program and working with diverse groups.
  • Knowledge of faith groups, pastoral theology, loss, grief, and crisis intervention.
  • Proficiency with technology and strong communication skills.
