Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Supervisor of Compliance to lead and educate providers on medical record documentation, risk adjustment and compliance activities. The role includes supervising a small team, presenting to leadership, developing training and reports, and coordinating compliance projects in the ambulatory space.

The position emphasizes in-depth knowledge of medical coding and risk adjustment, with collaboration across physicians, APPs and admin leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical, Law, Public Health, Business or related field.
• Minimum six (6) years of experience in compliance, health care operations (quality, risk, etc.), audit, finance, regulatory or public policy development, investigations, information security, or insurance/health plan governance or a directly related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of the compliance team and ensures policy adherence.
• Leads company compliance activities by collaborating with stakeholders and documenting activities.
• Develops compliance reports by evaluating data and reporting to management.
• Conducts compliance investigations by collecting data and interviewing.
• Assists with regulatory compliance monitoring and implementing changes.
• Coordinates projects/components of cross-functional initiatives.
• Develops and presents training materials on documentation and risk adjustment.
