Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Compliance Consultant V in Medical Coding to serve as a subject matter expert in all settings of care and ensure alignment with national coding policies. The role develops audit plans, forecasts staffing, and presents results to leadership, supporting the Principles of Responsibility and company conduct.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years medical coding experience.
• Minimum three years leadership experience (with or without direct reports).
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with eight years in health care compliance, operations, audit, finance, regulatory or related areas, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee compliance projects by applying regulatory knowledge and project management.
• Conduct risk adjustment coding compliance reviews and audits; develop work plans and timelines.
• Prepare and present audit results and compliance reports to regional staff and senior management.
• Monitor QA of the risk adjustment coding team and summarize data from reviews and audits.
• Identify and communicate regulatory impacts and drive corrective actions.
