Job summary

Total Respiratory in Marietta, GA is seeking a patient-focused team member to assist patients and clinics with home respiratory equipment questions and orders. You will guide patients through hands-on CPAP setup and provide in-person and phone support, ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience.

In this non-clinical role, you’ll handle scheduling, maintain patient records, process referrals and orders, verify insurance, and support billing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degree is a plus.
• Prior DME intake, billing, or authorization experience preferred.
• 1–2 years in medical office or healthcare customer service preferred.
• Non-clinical CPAP setup experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for occasional travel.
• Familiar with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and guests; manage check-ins and multi-line calls.
• Provide basic CPAP setup and demonstrate operation per instructions.
• Assist patients with mask sizing and fit.
• Explain device features and app usage to patients.
• Refer clinical questions to licensed clinician.
• Maintain accurate documentation of equipment and education.
• Support referrals, orders, and billing information.
• Collaborate with respiratory care professionals.
