Job summary

Cullman Regional is seeking a PRN - .3 Respiratory Therapist to provide CPAP therapy and patient education at the Sleep Disorders Center in Cullman, AL. The role supports compliance with AASM guidelines and ensures proper follow-up and documentation.

The ideal candidate is a registered or certified respiratory therapist with CPAP/bilevel experience and knowledge of DME billing. Alabama license and CPR certification are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered or certified respiratory therapist preferred.
• CPAP therapy knowledge and experience preferred.
• Billing/insurance knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide CPAP therapy to patients diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea.
• Educate patients and orient them to Equipment Plus and ensure follow-up data per sleep center guidelines.
• Assist with billing processes and understanding CPT codes and payer types.
• Coordinate and provide patient education for mask fitting and therapy optimization.
• Promote patient safety, high-quality care and excellent patient experiences.
