Job summary

HV Talent Group is assisting a leading nonprofit healthcare organization in Methuen, MA to secure a seasoned Controller (CPA). This senior finance role oversees accounting operations, grants accounting, audits, and internal controls within a highly compliant environment.

You will partner with the CFO and senior leadership to ensure GAAP compliance, accurate reporting, and strong financial stewardship across all funds and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA certification required.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of accounting leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience leading annual financial statement audits.
• Experience preparing and reviewing GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Experience with nonprofit accounting, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing complex accounting operations and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily accounting operations, including month-end close.
• Oversee external audits and regulatory examinations.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting for nonprofit operations.
• Manage grants accounting and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies.
• Partner with CFO and senior leadership on budget and reporting.
