Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
• Three years related experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
• Ellucian Banner experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and maintain the accounting system and budgetary control for the College while complying with local, state and federal legal requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of various financial reports (e.g., IPEDS, SR-A6, annual audit).
• Aid in the preparation of all interim financial reports and ensure reporting mechanisms properly reflect financial activities.
• Ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital funding requirements.
• Establish and monitor an appropriate financial and reporting internal control structure and align with GASB standards.
• Lead College-wide training sessions on budget travel reimbursements, Banner finance, etc.
• Collaborate with Student Financial Aid, Payroll, HR, Bursar, Institutional Research, IT and other stakeholders on financial projects.
