Soliant is seeking a CVOR Tech to join a cardiovascular operating room team in a fast-paced surgical setting. This contract role emphasizes preparing the OR, assisting surgeons, and maintaining sterile technique during complex cases.

Ideal candidates hold current CVOR Tech certification or equivalent experience, with at least one year in CVOR or surgical tech. BLS is required; CNOR or additional certs are a plus, along with strong communication and organization.

Qualifications

• Current CVOR Tech certification or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with cardiovascular surgical instruments and supplies.
• At least one year of direct CVOR or surgical tech experience.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and infection control standards.
• Ability to anticipate surgical team needs and respond quickly.
• BLS certification required; CNOR or additional certificates are a plus.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare the operating room and all necessary supplies for cardiovascular surgical cases.
• Assist surgeons and team members throughout procedures, managing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Monitor and manage equipment before, during, and after surgeries.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical activities and patient safety practices.
• Support post-operative processes, including room turnover and restocking for subsequent cases.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the surgical department.

$2,178 - $2,304/WeekEstimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
