Job summary

The Courtyard Salt Lake City Downtown, proudly managed by NCG Hospitality, is seeking a friendly Bistro Server. Start wages at $13.00 per hour plus tips, with flexible shifts Monday to Friday, weekends, and holidays.

You will welcome guests, take orders, communicate with the kitchen, and ensure a memorable dining experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting. Food handler certification and experience in food & beverage are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three or more months of previous restaurant experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Motivated to maintain excellent customer service reputation.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Take service orders and communicate them to the kitchen.
• Check back frequently with guests to ensure all needs are being met.
• Post payments using the point-of-service computer system.
• Prepare checks for guests.
• Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters for washing.

Open to early morning shifts from 5:30 am to 12:00 pm and occasional evening shifts from 5 pm to 11 pm

Must have food handlers, e tips and 1 year in Food & Beverage

The Bistro Café by Courtyard Marriott is a fast casual dining experience. We offer refreshing to-go options as well as full sit-down options for breakfast and dinner including food, cocktails, wine, beer, and Starbucks coffee. You will welcome guests and deliver exceptional dining experiences through attentive service, warm interactions, and a passion for great food.
