Job summary

The Courtyard Bistro Salt Lake City Downtown is hiring a friendly server to join our team. Starting at $13.00/hour plus tips, with flexible weekday availability and some holiday coverage.

Open to early morning shifts from 5:30 am to 12:00 pm, and occasional evenings from 5 pm to 11 pm. You’ll welcome guests, take orders, deliver an outstanding dining experience, and work with a supportive team at NCG Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Three or more months of previous restaurant experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Motivated to maintain excellent customer service reputation
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

• Take service orders and communicate them to the kitchen
• Check back frequently with guests to ensure all needs and expectations are being met
• Post payments using the point-of-service computer system
• Prepare checks for guests
• Removes dishes and glasses from tables or counters, taking them to the back to get washed

The Bistro Café by Courtyard Marriott is a fast casual dining experience. We offer refreshing to-go options as well as full sit-down options for breakfast and dinner including food, cocktails, wine, beer, and Starbucks coffee. You will welcome guests and deliver exceptional dining experiences through attentive service, warm interactions, and a passion for great food.
