Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• POST certified law enforcement experience or equivalent under CSM 804/60 college hours or military/public safety experience is acceptable.
• Must pass the physical agility test as part of pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Arrange seating and prepare courtroom for hearings, maintaining order and security.
• Deliver court papers and transport judge between chambers and courtroom.
• Monitor hallways, direct defendants, witnesses and the public to the correct courtroom.
• Conduct security checks to ensure a safe environment for judges, spectators and prisoners.
