Job summary

The Euless Municipal Court is seeking a Courtroom Security Officer to greet the public on arrival, operate metal detectors, and ensure compliance with court policies to maintain a safe environment.

Under supervision, you will inspect belongings, monitor entrances, complete required paperwork, and cooperate with court staff, judges, and defendants. This role emphasizes respectful interaction and physical stamina to perform lifting up to 20 pounds when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No criminal offenses above a class B misdemeanor in the last ten years.
• No theft or assault family violence offenses.
• Must comply with city drug and tattoo policies.
• Valid Texas driver's license or ability to obtain one with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Interacts professionally with the public and coworkers.
• Provides court security for the Euless Municipal Court and staff.
• Inspects/searches belongings entering the courtroom.
• Monitors individuals entering and leaving the courtroom.
• Completes necessary paperwork.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
