The role requires 2+ years in security, access control/badge experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with background checks and drug screening part of the process.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Age requirements: 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, attorneys, jurors, and other members of the public while following site security procedures.
• Screen persons and belongings entering the courthouse using screening equipment; identify prohibited items and direct entry.
• Maintain orderly access by verifying authorization and guiding visitors to correct areas.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and follow response protocols.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports accurately and promptly.
