Massachusetts Trial Court in Boston is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician I- John Adams to maintain and repair courthouse facilities and mechanical systems. The role supports safety, reliability, and continuous operations across state properties, with union rules guiding starting pay and progression.

The position features early morning hours, essential personnel status in emergencies, and a lead worker role overseeing others.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required or equivalent.
• Four (4) years of related work experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Applicable trades certification is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Maintains courthouse building and grounds.
• Contributes to a clean facility.
• Provides preventative maintenance to equipment, machinery and tools.
• Performs painting, patching and general building repairs.
• Repairs, installs and tests multiple systems and equipment.
• Maintains heating, ventilation and cooling equipment.
• Initiates request for various parts and equipment as necessary.
• Schedules and escorts contractors.
• Fills out daily lock out/ tag out log.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Ability to travel to court locations as necessary.
