Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to retail tasks across store operations and customer service. You will interact with customers, support service desks, and assist with various departments to ensure smooth store functioning.

Starting pay is up to $14.50 per hour, with scheduling flexibility to cover the store’s busiest days (Fri, Sat, Sun). This role offers hands-on learning and opportunities for advancement within the Meijer family.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store back inside.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for proper snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Assist service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments including Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

Hiring Immediately up to $14.50/hr. Starting pay is determined by experience and the Union Pay Scale.

Required Scheduling Availability: Days are flexible, but you must be available to be scheduled on our 3 busiest sales days (F, S, S).

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service. What You'll be Doing:
