Responsibilities:

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers, aiming for at least five items per bag while ensuring contents are not damaged.
• Follow best practices for bagging items using various bag types (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their vehicles.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather shopping carts for return.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and cleaning all store areas.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and product location, including conducting price checks.
• Reinforce safety programs by following safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions about products.
• Follow all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflict professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
