Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves and gather/breturn shopping carts.
7. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash.
8. Handle seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for locating products and conducting price checks.
9. Reinforce safety protocols and report unsafe conditions or accidents.
10. Adhere to food safety regulations and perform equipment inspections.
11. Create a welcoming environment, assisting customers and answering questions.
12. Follow all laws and company policies, and work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
13. Manage conflicts professionally and act with honesty and integrity.
14. Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
15. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
