Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and return merchandise to store shelves.
6. Inform customers of grocery specials and gather bascarts for return.
7. Clean spills, collect trash inside and outside the store.
8. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
9. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
10. Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
11. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
12. Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
13. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
14. Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
15. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflict appropriately.
16. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
17. Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
18. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
19. Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Salary Range: Minimum $19.5 - Maximum $20.9
