Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing merchandise from baskets for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves and gather/rearrange shopping carts.
7. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash.
8. Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and price checks.
9. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and comply with food safety regulations.
10. Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
11. Create a welcoming environment for customers and assist with questions about products.
12. Follow all legal and company guidelines, and work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
13. Manage conflicts professionally, act with honesty and integrity, and seek assistance when needed.
14. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
15. Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
