• Retail Experience is preferred but not necessary

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout for customers, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts for return.
7. Clean spills, collect trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintain cleanliness of all areas inside and outside the store.
8. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for locating products and conducting price checks.
9. Reinforce safety programs by following safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions or accidents.
10. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
11. Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
12. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
13. Follow all local, state, federal laws, and company policies.
14. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts professionally.
15. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
16. Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
17. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
18. Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $21.40 per hour.
