Responsibilities:

1. Bag groceries efficiently at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from the bottom of baskets for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
6. Inform customers about grocery specials.
7. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather/return shopping carts.
8. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot.
9. Clean all store areas, inside and outside.
10. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
11. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
12. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
13. Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
14. Create a welcoming environment for customers and answer questions about products.
15. Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies.
16. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
17. Manage conflicts in a respectful and cooperative manner.
18. Act with honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
