Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from baskets for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and clean spills or trash inside and outside the store.
7. Handle seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
8. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
9. Maintain equipment and create a welcoming environment for customers.
10. Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies.
11. Work cooperatively in high-paced, sometimes stressful environments and manage conflicts professionally.
12. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
13. Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
14. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
