Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries efficiently at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and using appropriate bagging practices.
• Assisting in removing merchandise from baskets for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their vehicles.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and understanding store layout for product location and price checks.
• Reinforcing safety protocols, reporting unsafe conditions or accidents, and adhering to food safety regulations.
• Inspecting equipment and notifying management of repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
• Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts, and acting with honesty and integrity.
• Providing support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
