Job Description

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag while ensuring contents are not damaged.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from the bottom of the shopping cart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather/return shopping carts.
• Clean spills, collect trash inside the store and parking lot, and clean all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers with product questions.
• Report safety risks, safety issues, and illegal activities such as theft or fraud.
• Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
