Essential Job Functions:

• Greet customers and bag groceries efficiently and carefully, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout and offer help with loading bags into cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning, restocking, and organize seasonal merchandise.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves.
• Collect and return shopping carts to designated areas, and maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Handle spills, trash, and ensure store safety and food safety regulations are followed.
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Identify unsafe conditions and report to management; practice preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
• Follow all applicable laws, safety procedures, and store policies.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, manage conflicts professionally, and act with honesty and integrity.
• Support customers with special needs and perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
