Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Customer Service skills

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Retail Experience is preferred but not necessary

Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag while ensuring contents are not damaged.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and informing customers of grocery specials.
• Returning merchandise to store shelves and gathering bascarts for return.
• Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintaining all store areas.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and understanding store layout for locating products and conducting price checks.
• Reinforcing safety programs, complying with safety procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhering to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Practicing preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting repairs.
• Creating a welcoming environment by answering customer questions and making them feel valued.
• Reporting safety risks, safety issues, and illegal activities such as theft or fraud.
• Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
