Job Description

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Bag groceries at checkout efficiently, aiming for at least five items per bag while ensuring contents are not damaged.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their vehicles.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves.
• Gather and return shopping carts to designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and cleaning all store areas.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and product location, including conducting price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety protocols, report unsafe conditions, and comply with food safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment regularly, report repairs needed, and create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity, respecting customer and business information.
• Assist diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
