Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Customer Service skills

• Retail Experience is preferred but not necessary

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at check out for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
6. Inform customers of grocery specials and promotions.
7. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts for return.
8. Clean spills, collect trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintain cleanliness of all areas.
9. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
10. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
11. Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
12. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
13. Inspect equipment regularly and notify management of repairs needed.
14. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering product questions.
15. Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
16. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
17. Manage conflicts in a reasonable and cooperative manner.
18. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
19. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
20. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
21. Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Salary Range: Minimum $17.50, Maximum $18.90
