Essential Job Functions:

• Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and aiming for at least five items per bag.
• Follow best practices for bagging using various types of bags.
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from baskets.
• Offer to help load bags into customers' cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves.
• Gather and return shopping carts; maintain store cleanliness inside and outside.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with price checks and store layout knowledge.
• Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report issues.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and perform preventive equipment inspections.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
• Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
